They keep the focus on your counter.
If you’re fortunate to have a granite or quartz countertop, you may want to keep that in view at all angles. The shortness of the back won’t extend much beyond the height of your counter and can even be pulled underneath your counter, depending on the stool.
They make clean-up time a breeze.
Clean-up time will be a breeze with because you won’t have to reach above or around the stool to get at the dishes on the table. Since the counter stool is short enough, you can simply reach across.
Most of our low back stools swivel.
We have two options when swiveling: swivel 180 degrees, known as memory-return, or all the way around at 360 degrees.
These stools also make sense for those concerned with banging the back of the stool into the countertop edge. This is unlikely to happen, especially if you get one short enough to tuck under your counter.
They’re lightweight.
If you need to move the stools to get in and out, clean your floor or just need it to be moved elsewhere, these are going to be a lighter in weight than a stool with a full back on it.
They’re comfortable.
As with all of our bar stools, these stools are also just as comfortable. Majority of these have a curved shape on the backrest which hugs you for optimal comfort.

Majority of our stools with short backs come in steel, which is powder-coated to protect your stool from scratches, peeling, etc. It will help to prolong your stools.
