Retro styled bar stools

Retro-style modern designs are new twists on historic trends or fashions. Retro-styled bar stools usually evoke the recent past, such as art deco, mid-century modern, post-modern, contemporary, and high-tech.

You’ll most often see styles from the 1920’s and 30’s, or 50’s and 60’s. These styles usually include metal, chrome, or brightly colored vinyls such as turquoise, red, black, rose, white, and gray.

To give your home some retro flair, you only need to incorporate a few details. To create a 1950’s style in your kitchen, for example, you might add diner details such as chrome stools topped with red leather (or vinyl) seats, or maybe choose plastic laminate countertops with a boomerang pattern.

Retro modern stools look great with checkered tile floors such as black and white tiles or black and pink tiles. These tiles also look great in rec rooms and even modern day kitchens.
